In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Navy Board has informed the Admiralty that due to lack of funds it is currently unable to complete the order for twenty-seven new ships. They are instructed to proceed with finishing the new ships using supplies ear marked for the maintenance of existing ships and to pay for replacements out of the money voted for the new ships!!!
