In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We have settled the annual salaries of Provost Marshalls, his Deputy and Wayter's [assistants] to be £91 for Provost Marshalls, £54 12s for Deputies and £45 10s for Wayters. They have been payed by our Solicitors Mr Whittaker to the 25 March last. We direct you to pay the salaries Quarterly from that time.
