In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

I was formally the Pilot of HMS ELIZABETH from the Downs to Gravelines pitts, anchored for several days and piloted her back to the Downs and safely anchored her, and stood by for 11 days, missing the chance to take a merchant ship from the Downs. We then went to Calais Roads, anchored, then back to the Downs where I was discharged. Several other Pilots of other HM ships did similar tasks to the same places, had bills of £18 10s allowed them, where as I only £10. Your supplicant [Thomas Pascall]. [Date unknown].
