Mr Thomas Meads late First Lieutenant of HM hired Ship LUMLEY CASTLE, having presented a Petition to this Board, that he was employed by order of his Captain from 19th February 1693 (The time the ship was wrecked near Gibraltar) until the 6th July following in saving HM Guns. We direct you pay him an allowance as a Lt. for that time.
