In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We the Sawers of Deptford Yard hereby named do not find any alteration in the new Instructions for measuring our works from the former rules of measuring; except that where we formerly cut eleven deals for three shillings, now we are to cut [twelve?] for the same price: and some small alteration to cross cuts. Witness our hands this 6 day of May 1696. 19 named petitioners: Deptford sawers.
