In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Understanding that the PORTSMOUTH PRIZE has received some damage by a dogger running aboard her, and that the JOLLY PRIZE is leaky as you will be more specifically informed by the extracts of their Commanders report enclosed. We do hereby direct you to cause their damage to be forthwith repaired at the Nore, the ships being under sailing orders and understanding by you from our letter of the 15th inst. for the said ships to be forthwith furnished with 15 months provisions, we do likewise signify hereby signify our approval.
