Re: your recent representation of the failures of several Commanders (whose Ships were recently paid off) to follow Admiralty instructions. Captain John Munden (HMS CORONATION) and Captain George Byng (HMS DUCHESS and HOPE) having made application this Board acknowledging their said failures and promising to be very careful observing instructions in future. we do hereby direct you to pay the wages due to them.
