With ref. to your recent letters we require you to do the following; reset the bulkheads of the Gunrooms and Cabins that were taken down last Summer; following the survey of the Prize at Portsmouth taken by HMS CROWN is to expensive to fit out as man of war she is to be laid up in the Harbour; HMS ASSURANCE at Deptford is to be repaired and fitted out for Summer service and victualled for 4 months; the Fireship Nathaniel following your survey is to be laid up.
