Rear Admiral Rooke has informed us from the Downs that the Master of the King Constant bound with stores for Portsmouth arrived in the Downs 12 hours before the Smyrna Merchant sailed from here to the Westward, without making any request for Convoy, thereby missing the opportunity to go with her. I thought it fitting to inform you.
