In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In your letter to this Board of the 30th of last month you informed us that you have agreed with Mr Snelgrove, a Shipwright in this River, for building at his Yard near Deptford one of the fourth Rate Ships appointed by Act of Parliament to be built for his Majesty, and to launch her in thirteen months, at the rate of eleven pounds per ton, and to take all his payments in course out of the Moneys appointed for that Service.
We approve of this agreement and direct you to perfect a Contract with Mr Snelgrove for building the said ship accordingly. .
