In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

A Paper has been lately presented to the King setting out the convenience of the Port of Kinsale in Ireland for the cleaning and repairing of their Majesties' Ships.
We are sending a Copy thereof, and direct you, having regard to that Place, the price of Materials and Workmanship there, and the conveniences that may be had for refitting and victualling their Majesties' Ships at that Port, to consider whether to make use of it during the present War with France.
If so, what other conveniences should be provided for that Service besides those belonging to their Majesties at that place with the Charges thereof.
You are to report to this Board your opinion with all convenient speed.
