In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Your letter of the 12th inst; informed us that the BRISTOL is intended to enter Mr Castle's Dock the next Spring in place of the WOOLWICH, and that she is likely to want a great repair. We direct you to cause all her Company excepting the Commission and Warrant Officers to be turned over to the WOOLWICH as soon as she is launched and the BRISTOL entered into the Dock.
Also you are to cause the WOOLWICH to be fitted out for Channel service, manned with her highest complement of Men, and victualled with four months dry Provisions and three months Beer.
