In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We direct you to give notice to the Seamen belonging to their Majesties' Ships by affixing intimation at Public places that no Tickets which have already been or may hereafter be given them by the Commander of the Ships to which they belong, will protect them from being taken up to serve in other Ships after the thirtieth day of the of the present month, unless they are employed in Pressing and have Tickets to show this employment.
We direct you to give Orders that Seamen who have had leave to be absent and have been or shall be made Run for not returning by the time directed them, have their Runs taken off provided they return to their respective Ships on or before the 3oth of this month, of which you are to give Public notice to the seamen.
