His Majesty has directed us to give Orders for providing a Medal and Chain to the value of fifty pounds to be given to Captain Charles Stocker, Commander of the Privateer CLOUDISLY GALLY, as a reward for his courageous fight and taking a French Privateer called the MERCURY OF DUNKIRK, John Johnson Commander, of twenty six guns, on the 21st December last.
We direct you to sign a Bill on the Navy Treasurer for payment to Thomas Neale, Master of the Mint, for fifty pounds, enabling him to provide the Medal and Chain.
