In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Her Majesty has by her Order in Council dated the 4th June 1691 referred to this Board the Petition of the late Company of Shipwrights in Redrith in the County of Surrey, and other Master Shipwrights of England and Wales, together with some additional heads thereunto annexed, proposed by the Petitioners in order to the amendments of their Ancient Charters which they humbly pray may be revised, amended and confirmed accordingly.
We hereby refer the said Petition to the Principal Officers and Commissioners of the Navy and the Master Wardens and Assistants of the Trinity House of Deptford, directing them to consider and report to this Board their joint opinion what they judge fitting to be done, and returning the said Petition and Proposals.
