In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

William Penman, late Purser of the OSSORY, by reason of his age and infirmity is incapable of further employment, and we direct you to settle a Pension on him during his natural life, equal to the Wages and known allowances to the Purser of one of the Ships of second Rate from the time he was discharged from the OSSORY.
You are to sign Bills quarterly on the Navy Treasurer for paying the pension accordingly.
