In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Court Martial concerning the loss of the TALBOT ketch, taken by the French, acquitted the officers from any failure of duty, except the Commander who was sentenced to imprisonment during their Majesties' pleasure and to be incapable of further employment. You are directed to pay the officers the wages due to them.
