In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We are informed by the late Commander of the JAMES galley, now at Plymouth, that she was lately aground at Kinsale from where, he believes, she was damaged being now leaky. You are directed to have her refitted and cleaned at Plymouth for service in the Channel, and her victuals completed to 3 months. You are to send us an account of the damage she received.
