In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
You are directed to have the CHATHAM and SAPHIRE cleaned and refitted at Plymouth by careening or otherwise, as you shall judge they are soonest ready for sea. They are for service in the Channel and to be victualled for 4 months with all possible dispatch.
