In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

The ST MARTIN Prize has been ordered to Portsmouth for repair having been loaned to John Evans Esq for the purpose of subduing unrest in islands on the West coast of Ireland. An instruction is given for her to be surveyed and a report issued stating whether she is suitable to be used as a Man-of-War and if so what rate should be assigned to her together with a recommendation as to the size of her Complement and the number and nature of her guns.
