In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Enclosing a copy of a letter from the Commissioners for Victualling and requesting the Navy Board to conduct a Survey of the stocks of raisins able to be supplied to HM ships. The allowance of stock fish for use by seamen should also be reviewed. Sir Cloudesley Shovell has raised concerns regarding the payment of Volunteers which does not appear to be following the previous year's pattern.
