In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Officers in the Fleet have notified the Admiralty that certain Seamen and Watermen are claiming Protection from being pressed. The Admiralty asks for a list of all persons who have been granted Protection showing the date granted and the duration of Protection. They also require to be informed of any future Protections granted.
