In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Wanting to know the best way of obtaining a small number of vessels to serve as Advice Boats. The vessels must be good sailers and suitable for that service. The GERMOON Prize at Plymouth has already been fitted as an Advice Boat, while others are to be procured by building, purchasing or hiring. Also wishing to know which of the Fourth Rate Frigates is judged the most suitable for service in the West Indies.
