In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

The Navy Board has proposed that the TANGERINE should serve in the West Indies but the Admiralty are doubtful whether the recent repairs to her hull have been truly effective. And require confirmation. Ten named Fireships have been ordered to proceed to Sheerness for cleaning. Officers at the Yard are instructed to give the Commissioners for Ordnance ten days notice of when each ship's fireworks will be required to be put aboard.
