In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

You are directed to give orders to the officers of the yards for the utmost dispatch of the several works and that there are as many workmen of each sort employed and are constantly kept at work, as well as on Sundays and other holidays. You are to give us a progress of each work in the weekly returns you send to this board. You are also to give us an account of the sums of money you make application to the Treasury for.
