In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In pursuance of an Order in Council of 14 April, you are directed to contract with the masters of the ships BEAVER and RESOLUTION, lying near Tower Wharf, which are to proceed to New York for transporting 40 tons of goods and 19 servants for Colonel Fletcher, Governor of New York. You are to prepare an estimate of the charge in order to obtain money for defraying this.
