In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In pursuance of Her Majesty's warrant under her signet and sign manual [signature] dated 22 April, you are directed to have all seamen having voluntarily entered themselves to serve this year, to be entered in pay from the time they listed themselves. This to be in the time limit by the Proclamation upon certificates given upon oath by the officers who listed them.
