In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Captain ST.Lo, Commander of the PORTSMOUTH, is asking to be discharged from an Imprest for procuring Men, claiming that he had already laid out a considerable sum in hiring vessels and recruiting Men and that the remainder of the money was lost when the ship was taken by the French. An Order is given for discharging St.Lo's debt.
