In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Enclosure: Extract of a letter from Captain Tuckey Commander of the ROE Ketch in Dover Road in which he relates that when lying with Fishermen of South Foreland he met with an English Pinnace of ten oars and that she was low in the water due to a shot hole. After stopping her he took her into Dover and left her with the Shipwright. He comments that for a small sum she could be repaired and could serve again in her original role.
