In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Ordering the YORK, MONTAGU and CENTURION at Portsmouth, and the DEPTFORD at Plymouth to be cleaned and refitted for service in the Channel and victualled for four months. The LION in the Downs has been found to be very leaky and is ordered in to Sheerness for immediate repair. A report is required giving the length of time required to carry this out. A cable is to be supplied to the MONMOUTH in the Downs.
