In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Requiring the LONDON MERCHANT Hired ship to be urgently fitted out as a Hospital ship to serve with the Squadron going to the West Indies instead of the CONCORD staffed with a suitable number of Surgeons and supplied with medical necessities. An opinion is required as to whether the CONCORD could serve as a Man-of-War and if so what number of Men and number and types of Guns she would require.
