In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Some Danish and Swedish ships are being detained in the Downs suspected of being bound for France. Instructions have been given to Captain Munden Commander of the LENOX also in the Downs for Men from his ship together with Men from the EXPEDITION to be put aboard the foreign ships in order to conduct them round to Queenborough, Swale. The Men are then to be returned to their respective ships.
