In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Your report to this Board dated November 23rd last concerning Officers for the Plymouth Yard proposed it necessary that the place of Storekeeper and Clerk of the Cheque there should be executed by two Persons as in other Yards, and that these officers should be allowed each one hundred pound a year Salary, and two Clerks to each of them at thirty pound a year a piece.
Also that a Surgeon should be appointed to the Yard at the same allowance as is made to the Surgeons at Portsmouth and Sheerness Yards, namely twenty two pence for each working day besides the two pence allowed out of Workmens' Wages.
We signify our approval and direct you to cause these Salaries and Allowances to be established accordingly.
