We send you enclosed the Petition of John Daniel, Storekeeper of the Sheerness Yard, praying to be admitted to resign his said employment to his son Roger Daniel, together with a Certificate for the said Roger Daniel, and direct you to consider this and report to us your opinion whether the Petitioner's Son is a fitting Person to succeed his Father in the said employment, returning to us the said Petition and Certificate.
