In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Your letter of the 4th inst; informed us that the Old Single Dock at the Chatham Yard has been very Crasy for a long time, and the Apron blown up in the late stormy weather. There is a necessity of making new the Apron Gates and Wharves about them, an estimate of the Charges amounting to seventeen hundred pounds received in your letter.
We direct you to cause these works to be taken in hand according to the Estimate confirmed by this Board and herewith returned to you.
