Your letter of the 7th inst; informed us that the French Privateer taken by the RUPERT, and now at Portsmouth, is fitting to be employed as a Man of War, and sets out the number of Men and number and nature of Guns fitting to be established on her in War and Peace, and that she be established as a 6th Rate.
We direct that she be fitted for Channel service and manned with her highest complement of Men and victualled for three months.
