The first subfolder contains a note by Waters titled "Japan - Defeat through Blockade, 1941-1945", 3 pages, typed and annotated dated July 1958; the second subfolder contains typed extracts from a US Strategic Bombing Survey of 1947, plus pages of manuscript notes; the third subfolder contains similar material, plus a cutting from the Guardian, another from The Times, and a copy of the "defeat through blockade" note, as an appendix to a letter; the fourth contains typed and manuscript notes about the defeat of Japan.
