In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In pursuance of the letter of today's date by the Earl of Nottingham we direct you to give Orders to Captain Benbow, Master Attendant at the Chatham Yard, to go down to Portsmouth and embark with the Duke of Leinster upon the present expedition, and that you represent to this Board a fitting Person to act as Captain Benbow's Deputy during his absence on that service.
