Upon consideration of your report of the 28th June last on the Petition of John Quantrile, Master and Owner of the HOPEWALL Smack, praying satisfaction for his loss, sunk in the engagement against the French on the 19th May last, we direct you to cause an allowance to be made to John Quantrile for the loss of his Smack, which appears to you to have attended on the DUKE, under Rear Admiral Carter, according to the Rules and practice of the Navy.
