In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The service of the Navy requiring that a Yard be made at the place in Hamose near Plymouth where the new Dock is now building, and several buildings erected therein, as well for accommodation of the Navy Officers appointed there, as for Storehouses and and other services, we direct you to consider what dimensions will be requisite the said Yard should be, and what houses for the Officers, Storehouses and other buildings will be necessary to be built for the accommodation of the their Majesties' service at that place, and report your opinion to this Board, expressing the dimensions of each particular building and for what use the same is designed.
You are to prepare and present to this Board an estimate in due form of the Charge of this service in order to the procuring of Money for answering the same.
