In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We direct you to cause a Survey to be made of the four Merchant Ships , whose names are mentioned in the margin, now in the River Thames, and report to this Board by Monday next at eleven of the Clock in the forenoon, if they are fitting to be employed as Men of War of the fourth or fifth Rate , and in what time they can be got ready for service at Sea.
