In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
It appears to us that Lieutenant William Clutterbuck, first Lieutenant of the RESERVE, was by Captain Crawley's Orders dated November 9th last, appointed to command the LEOPARD Hulk, to bring her from Cadiz.
We direct you to cause him to be paid as a Commander of a fourth Rate Ship from the date of the said Orders to the time of his discharge from the LEOPARD on her arrival at Chatham, taking care he is not paid as Lieutenant of the RESERVE for any part of that time.
