In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We direct you to consider some Persons who by their service in the Navy, either as Clerks in your Office, in the Yards, or to the Commanders of Ships, or otherwise in the Fleet, you judge qualified to be employed as as Pursers in their Majesties' Ships, and send us a List of their names, with an account for how long a time and in what quality each of them have served in the Navy.
