In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We direct you to cause the Ships undermentioned to be forthwith fitted for a voyage to the West Indies, at the several places against their names expressed, to be manned with their middle complements of Men, and furnished with eight months victuals of proper species for such a voyage, causing such of them as are not already, to be sheathed, and all possible dispatch used.
Twelve vessels named, commencing with the RUPERT at Portsmouth.
