In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Being informed by your letter to us of yesterday's date that the Merchant Ships named the WARRINGTON, UNITY and SMYRNA Factor are fitting to be employed as Men of War of the fifth Rate, we direct you to hire these Ships on the best terms you can for Men of War, as other Merchant Ships are hired for that service, and cause them to be fitted out by the Owners for Channel service, reporting to us what number of Men, and number and nature of Ordnance are fitting to be established for each of them.
