In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We have considered what you have reported to us in your letter of the 7th of this month concerning the failure of Captain Christopher Myngs in not observing the Lord Admiral's Instructions during the time he commanded the OXFORD, and direct you cause the Captain's Wages to be paid notwithstanding the said failure, taking care that the Charge of any Supernumeraries, or of Men otherwise irregularly borne be made good out of the said Wages.
