In your letter of the 30th of last Month you sent us a copy of a letter from the Commissioners of Victualing where they propose employing Henry Pike to be the Victualing Agent for the West Indies Squadron with a Salary of £250 a year for Himself and Clerks, we approve of the appointment, and direct you to inform the Victualling Commissioners and to ensure he is instructed in his duties and responsibilities.
