In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Not withstanding our letter to you on the 26th August for sinking the PELICAN and NATHANIEL Fireships at Sheerness, the Richard and John at Harwich, and the Speedwell and Roebuck at Portsmouth as proposed in your letter of 23rd of August. We do hereby direct you to forebear sinking them until further Orders, and as soon as maybe provide the names of the persons who Surveyed and Cast them, and the other unserviceable Ships and Stores lately represented by you as fitting to be sold were Cast, with the names of the Surveyor and who Cast them.
