In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In answer to your letter of the 5th Inst. asking the action to be taken on the ships going to the West Indies (as well as those at Portsmouth that have not yet sailed) are to have their pay allocated from the date of our order, and to take care to send for a list of their names as the order directs.
