We direct you to survey the Ships at Spithead as they arrive and account taken of their defects, and ordered into Portsmouth as convenient for getting them ready for Sea in the Spring, taking those that require the least work first. Ships for This Year's Service: HOPE; LENOX; NORTHUMBERLAND; STIRLING CASTLE; DEVONSHIRE; RUSSELL; CORNWALL; BOYNE. Ships for This Winter's Service: BREDAH; EDGAR; CAMBRIDGE; DEFIANCE; MONTAGUE; PLYMOUTH; YORK; SWIFTSURE; WARSPITE; RUPERT; DREADNAUGHT.
